If you have to go to court for a traffic violation, AAA will reimburse you for attorney fees up to:

• $50 for covered traffic violations.
• $225 for manslaughter in connection with an auto accident and a total of $300 if appealed to the State Supreme Court.

Plus increases your attorney fee reimbursement up to:

• $100 for covered traffic violations.
• $500 for manslaughter in connection with an auto accident.
• Total of $1,000 if appealed to the State Supreme Court.

Plus/RV increases your attorney fee reimbursement up to:

• $250 for covered traffic violations.
• $750 for manslaughter in connection with an auto accident.
• Total of $1,500 if appealed to the State Supreme Court.

This benefit may be used once per membership year. You must appear in court or furnish a signed waiver that an attorney represented you. A plea of not guilty must be given to the original charge.  Notice of claim to the club along with all required documentation must be submitted within 60 days of the trial date. Reimbursement does not cover the charge of driving while impaired, failure to appear on previous traffic violations, or other serious driving offenses.
